Good morning, Lord

Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure. 27 "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. 28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Good morning, Lord, please help us be in tune with your will, no matter what happens, we pray we would know you are in control, no matter what happens to us.

Lord, we pray for the persecuted church in Azerbaijan (where the “…majority of the population lives in poverty, and most of Azerbaijan’s towns and villages have never heard the gospel.”) We pray for freedom for the captives in Azerbaijan, please help those who minister there to speak truth in love, we pray for saturation of this country with the Gospel message.

We pray for the unreached people of the day, the Berber, Rawain of Morocco (among whom “Gospel radio and recordings, and the Jesus film are available in the language of the Berbers. Literature and Scripture are often made available on the docks of southern Europe as these people who work in Europe go home for holidays.”) We pray the resources available to the Berber of Morocco would be shared far and wide among those who seek truth, the absolute truth of your word, thank you for the people who have a burden on their heart for the Rawain Berber and their nomadic lifestyle, we pray the desert where they live would become fertile ground for salvation among these people.

We pray for Happy Hands, please help them continue to expand their influence in the community.

Joel & Billie Shepherd: Prayer for brother-in-law, Bob Bailey – was involved in major auto accident in Houston. We pray for Bob and his family, we pray there is evidence all around them of you working in Bob’s situation.

Tammy Simpson: Please continue to pray for my grandpa, Jerry Harrell – has started treatments for lung cancer; also need prayer for my sister, Charity, who is not in a good place mentally or emotionally – is making poor choices. Lord, we pray for Jerry, for healing, for hope, for victory over cancer. We pray for Charity, please help her feel the weight of the choices she is making.

Linda Sisney: Cousin, Loretta, finished her chemo and doing ok; her brother, Clifford, had cyber knife surgery; both have lung cancer. Thank you for working in Loretta and Clifford’s lives, please help Linda minister to both of them in powerful ways.

Cindy Standley: Please pray for my brother, Chuck – brain cancer; my uncle, Doyle Newby – inoperable heart condition; my son, Pete – recovering from knee surgery. We pray for healing for Chuck, Doyle, and Pete, please help them see you moving in their various situations.

Natalie Surber: Please pray for the military families during this Holiday Season; let their hearts be filled with love and support. Lord, thank you for our fellow Americans who serve all over the world, please help us support and encourage them and their families.

Sys: Need God’s guidance – moment by moment. Lord, we pray Sys feels you holding her hand as she moves forward.

Phyllis Wilson: Family of Phyllis’ brother, Chip Walker, Chip passed away last Monday. We pray you would bless Phyllis and John and their long distance ministry to Chip’s family.

Ron & Halee Wood: Please pray for our family as we grieve the loss of our son Elliot passed on to heaven. We also need prayers with the decisions in the days to come. We are so thankful to our church family for the love and support during these difficult days. Lord, thank you for the faith of this family, please help them find ample opportunities to heal from their loss.

Kelly & Lynn Wresche: Pray for Gary Wresche (Kelly’s brother), appears that melanoma has come back. Lord, we pray for Gary, please help him see how you are working in his life through this cancer situation.

Jean Wright: Prayer for friend’s family dealing with child custody in divorce; pray God’s will be done; continued prayer for healthy pregnancy for Mitzi Wright. It’s a Girl! Lord, we pray for protection for the children involved in this divorce situation, we pray there might be reconciliation in this family.

Alta Yahola: Tim & Mariah – doing ok now, pray they continue to do so and thanks for all your prayers. We pray for a season of stability and peace and growth in Tim, Mariah, and Alta’s life.

Jerry & Billye Zimmer: Continued prayer for Cody Zimmer and Jerry as he recovers from neck injury. Lord, we pray Jerry’s neck is almost healed and that he would be back in worship and able to do more than he has been. We pray you are moving in mighty ways in Cody’s life in powerful ways.
