Matthew 13:44 "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. 45 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46 When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.”
Good morning, Lord, thank you for speaking to us in parables through your word, please help us understand and apply those parables to our daily lives, please forgive us for living our lives without the proper regard for kingdom principles, please help us to be holy as you are holy, to be wholly different people because of the change you have made in us.
Lord, we pray for the persecuted church in Uzbekistan, (where the “…religion law bans unregistered religious activity and any activity by an unregistered group; even importing books is illegal.”) We know you are greater than these laws that were written in vain to stop your kingdom, we pray your kingdom would come and your will be done among the people of Uzbekistan, please help them find truth, real truth, eternal truth, we pray they would be given a godly hunger and thirst for righteousness.
We pray for the unreached people of the day, the Aimaq, Taimani of Afghanistan, (563,000 souls, among whom “…strong tribal and family loyalties create difficult barriers for the message of God's grace found in Jesus. In addition, the Aimaq live in remote areas of Afghanistan. Scripture resources are needed in the Aimaq language.”) We pray for your word to be made available in the Aimaq language, please help them desire to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ who you have sent, please help us help them in practical ways.
