Good morning, Lord

Psalm 117:1 I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. 2 Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.

Good morning, Lord, thank You that we can call on You and know You will hear, we pray You would help us tell others how they can call on Your name and live the life You desire for them to live.

Lord, we pray for the persecuted church in Pakistan, where believers face extremist ideologies on many sides, we pray for our brave brothers and sisters in Christ in Pakistan, we pray You would help them share Your love in bold and tangible ways. We pray for those who are torn between the truth of the Gospel and the ideologies they have lived all their lives, please help them leap out in faith in Your name and share Your salvation.

We pray for the unreached people of the day, the Dariganga of Mongolia, “…the Lord is building His church in Mongolia, and exciting things are happening. Pray the followers of Jesus among the Dariganga will grow in numbers and influence among their own people.” Lord, thank You that You are stirring hearts all over the world, all the time, we pray for a great harvest among the Dariganga, may they be caught up in the wonderful things You are doing in Mongolia, we pray for believers in Mongolia to have a burden on their hearts for their fellow countrymen among these people.

We pray for Good News Production International, thank You for this cutting-edge ministry, for taking the Good News all over the world, please prepare the hearts of those they will reach.

Lord, we pray for the Love Cost All simulcast this week, sensitize us to the plight of our persecuted brothers and sisters all over the world.

We pray for the president, please help Mr. Obama lead this country to follow Your plan for this nation, please forgive us for the sin in our land that separates us from You, for the sinful things we export to the rest of the world.

Irene Burgett has been admitted to St. Francis - she had fallen out her bed at Manor Care twice and they wanted to make sure that she had not broken her hip/leg etc. She is in quite a bit of discomfort but all tests showed no fractures. Lord, we pray Irene would get to go home soon and would not fall again.

Thelma Hinkle is in the OSU Medical Center. He had been complaining of pain in her stomach. David said that the fibroid mass has gotten larger and was probably pressing on her stomach and causing her increased pain. She also does not have good blood flow and is disoriented. We pray for Thelma, please help her know You are near and working in her mind and body and spirit.

Jeanne Crosser remains at St. John and is having more trouble with her dialysis port. (See prayer list items below)

David & Lagene Byrd: Prayer for Stephanie Wyrick, who is carrying our grandson and going through a high-risk pregnancy. Lord, we pray the risk factors would remain under control, please help Stephanie do the best she can for herself and her baby.

Miles & Mary Call: Please pray for Adam & Tracy Lyle (our nephew and his wife) as they are going through a high-risk pregnancy; a friend, Sherri Best Buirrea, has leukemia, liver failure, and needs heart surgery. We pray for Adam and Tracy and their baby, the same things, for protection from risks to the life of this precious little one. We pray for Sherri, please help her see how You are working even among all these challenges.

James & Anita Chantre: Anita’s brother is home and doctors could not find anything. Praise God! Lord, we thank You that Anita’s brother is doing better, we pray the situation will not repeat.

Alice Chapman: Deeanna Ammel (my brother’s wife) – chemo has been discontinued as tumors are growing and cancer has reached her brain. Lord, we pray for Deeanna, please help her keep hoping and moving forward, trusting You one day at a time, we pray for a miracle, we thank You for all the miracles she has already been blessed with.

Mary Cook: For unspoken prayer need concerning family matter; for my sister, Betty Oliver, for healing. Lord, we pray Mary would see Your deliverance in this family situation. We pray for Betty to be healed, we pray she would know where her help comes from.

Matt & Angie Crosser: Kevin has pneumonia – we are treating him at home and praying this won’t turn into a hospital visit; still searching for nursing solution with Medicare; Matt’s mom, Jeanne, at St. John’s with kidney issues among other problems. Lord, we pray for Kevin and Jeanne and their special needs at this time, please help Matt, Angie, Greg, and the other stakeholders in their family, please give them wisdom to choose wisely at the crucial decision points they are facing.

Susan Daugherty (Charlie’s sister): Hospitalized and released; undergoing kidney dialysis. Lord, we pray for Susan and Charlie and their regular dialysis appointments, please help them show they have hope beyond this procedure, beyond this life, we pray those they work with all the time would be touched by their faith.

Billy Joe Dick (brother of friend of Debby Sumpter): Diagnosed with liver cancer. Please help Billy Joe see how You have been there for him in the past, and to know You will be there for him today, tomorrow, that there is no shifting or changing with You.

Charles Dossey: Please pray for my niece’s husband, Wayne Baker, as he has had 2 or 3 heart attacks and now having other health problems. Lord, we pray for Wayne’s heart to be healed, we pray there would be no more heart attacks, we pray the other problems would disappear.

We pray all these things in your name, Jesus, Amen.
