Good morning, Lord

Luke 2:13-14
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”

"Glory to God in the highest..."  "Doxa en hypsistois Theo"

Doxa: 1391 dóksa (from dokeō, "exercising personal opinion which determinesvalue") – glory1391 /dóksa ("glory") corresponds to the OT word, kabo (OT 3519, "to be heavy"). Both terms convey God's infiniteintrinsic worth(substance, essence).

[1391 (dóksa) literally means "what evokes good opinion, i.e. that something has inherent, intrinsic worth" (J. Thayer).]

Good morning, Lord, thank You for the glory that came from the highest realms to the lowest earth, thank You for Your favor, and Your peace. What an amazing fulfillment of prophecy, that Your only Son was born in a humble stable, the King of kings, and Lord of lords, living on earth, Immanuel, God with us! Thank You for the wonderful sequences of events this birth set in motion, truly the keystone event in history. Amen!
