Hebrews 12:28-29
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”
Good morning, Lord, please teach us acceptable reverence and worship. Your Word says God is love (I John 4:8), help us understand how You can be 100% love, 100% consuming fire, 100% merciful, and 100% just and righteous. Forgive us for our lack of awe, please teach us to relate to You as we should, in Jesus' name we pray, amen.
