So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Good morning, Lord, how beautifully simple is this verse, this golden rule, yet so often we spurn, we reject, we withhold our love, for many reasons, which on that great day, in the light of judgement, will no doubt be worthless noise. Please soften our hearts, help us follow Your lead, You were abused in unimaginable ways yet You prayed for Your abusers. Whatever You ask us to endure, for the sake of Your will being done, is totally worthy and reasonable. Help us, please, to love, because You first loved us. Amen.
