Good morning, Lord, thank You for the wonderful faculties we have, forgive us for misusing them in so many ways as we ignore this, the greatest commandment. Please help us see how we are not loving You, as our true feelings manifest in many areas of our lives, how we treat others, how we treat ourselves, all related to how we treat you. Please forgive our egocentric habits, please renew our hearts and souls and minds for Your service, for Your honor, we pray in Jesus name, amen.

καρδία - 2588 kardía – heart; "the affective center of our being" and the capacity of moral preference (volitional desire, choice; see P. Hughs, 2 Cor, 354); "desire-producer that makes us tick" (G. Archer), i.e our "desire-decisions" that establish who we really are.
ψυχή - psyche (soul) 5590 psyxḗ (from psyxō, "to breathe, blow" which is the root of the English words "psyche," "psychology") – soul (psyche); a person's distinct identity (unique personhood), i.e. individual personality.
διάνοια - (mind) 1271 diánoia (from 1223 /diá, "thoroughly, from side-to-side," which intensifies 3539 /noiéō, "to use the mind," from 3563 /noús, "mind") – properly, movement from one side (of an issue) to the other to reach balanced-conclusions; full-orbed reasoning (= critical thinking), i.e. dialectical thinking that literally reaches "across to the other side" (of a matter).
