Good morning, Lord, these three occurrences of this word ēgapēsan clearly show us how our old nature loves darkness rather light, the approval of men rather than Yours, even death over life. Thank You that You offer something so much better than natural life, better than sinful existence in this sin filled world, thank You for showing us the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), please help us rise above these natural tendencies, to walk in light as You are in the light, to walk in newness of life, to walk in love, not for the approval of men, but to be examples of Your grace and love, in Jesus' name we pray, amen.
