David’s Prayer
18 Then King David went in and sat before the Lord, and he said:
“Who am I, O Sovereign Lord, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?
Good morning, Lord, who am I, that You have done such wonderful things for me, wretched soul that I am? Thank You for Your mercy, grace, and goodness, for You have done great things for us. How amazing, no eye has seen, no ear has heard, or mind has conceived what You have prepared for those who love You (1 Corinthians 2:9). Please forgive our sins, we know righteousness and truth and justice are just as much of who You are as are mercy, grace, and goodness. Please equip us to sin less and serve and love more, for Your honor and glory, we pray in Jesus' name, amen.
