Good morning, Lord

Revelation 12:1 A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads. 4 His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.

Good morning, Lord, thank you for the great and wondrous things that have happened and will happen in the future, please help us see how you are in control, no matter what, please forgive us for doubting that you are in control.

Lord, we pray for the persecuted church in Jordan, (“…host to 1 million refugees from nearby Iraq, as well as nearly 2 million Palestinian refugees. A high percentage of the Iraqi refugees are Christians.”) We pray for the church in Jordan to shine, to stand far above your enemies, those hollow and vain beliefs that enslave men and women and take them captive. Please help them bring love and hope to the refugees in their midst.

We pray for the unreached people of the day, the Jat, Sikh of India (10,804,000 souls, among whom are only 0.01% Christian, here are the prayer points from the joshuaproject.org web site:

* Ask the Lord to call people who are willing to go to India and Nepal and share Christ with these tribes.

* Pray that the Holy Spirit will soften their hearts towards the Gospel.

* Ask God to call out prayer teams to break up the soil through worship and intercession.

* Ask the Lord to raise up a triumphant Church among the Jat for the glory of His name!

Lord, we agree with these requests, we pray many of the Jat would know the truth that would set them free.

We pray for David and Debra Shelton, thank you for the ministry they have among those who aspire to share the Gospel through the arts, please help them continue to make significant impact and invest deeply in the lives of young people for your honor and glory.

Candice & Derek Reyna: Candice’s grandmother is battling cancer and several complications. The Reyna’s & their two boys are new to HP. Lord, we pray for Candice’s grandmother, please help her know the perfection of your strength that comes through our weaknesses.

Linda Richmond: Sister-in-law, Darla McPherson – her cancer has spread to liver and other vital organs; they have two young daughters. Lord, we pray for Darla, please help her see you working in the lives of her family, especially her children, please help her know you are near and that you have a plan for all of them.

Brenda Rollins: Recovering from carpal tunnel surgery last Tuesday. Lord, thank you for Brenda and her ministry to others, we pray she would recover quickly from this surgery.

Joel & Billie Shepherd: Prayer for brother-in-law, Bob Bailey – was involved in major auto accident in Houston. Lord, we pray for Bob, please help him recover completely, please help him know you are there every step of the way.

Vickie Shipman: Please pray for my mom, Betty Shipman, in her intense pain; also for my finances. Lord, we pray for Vickie and her mother, please help the doctors figure out why Betty is hurting, please help Vickie do the best she can with her finances.

Tammy Simpson: Please pray for my grandpa, Jerry Harrell – diagnosed with lung cancer, pray for strength and encouragement. Lord, we pray for Jerry, please help him see you working in his battle with cancer, please help him know the battle belongs to you.

Linda Sisney: Cousin, Loretta, finished her chemo and doing ok; her brother, Clifford, had cyber knife surgery; both have lung cancer. Lord, we pray for Loretta and Clifford, please help them know how near you are, please help them see how much you meant what you said when you promised you would never leave us or forsake us.

Cindy Standley: Please pray for my brother, Chuck – brain cancer, for his salvation; my uncle, Doyle Newby – main artery to heart 100% blocked, inoperable; his wife, Royce, for emotional strength; my son, Pete – having knee surgery Dec. 28th. Lord, we pray for Chuck, this is eternal life that he may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ who you have sent, please use Cindy in powerful ways in Chuck’s salvation story. We pray for Doyle and Royce, we pray for the strength they need to face each day, we pray for a miracle of healing in their lives. We pray Pete’s surgery would go well and that he would know it was you who did this great work in his body.
