Good morning, Lord

Malachi 1:6 "A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?" says the LORD Almighty.

Good morning, Lord, please forgive us for not giving you the respect due you, please help us see you high and lifted up, please help us realize who we are dealing with, you, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Please forgive us for being callous and flippant; please help us be sober and right-minded.

Lord, we pray for the persecuted church in Turkey (where “…despite government claims and a constitutional guarantee of religious freedom, Christians do not enjoy freedom of religion in many areas. Politicians, police and the growing Islamist movement are hostile to anything Christian.”), we pray this area, this cradle to the faith will one day be restored, we pray the truth of the glorious Gospel would radiate throughout the land and would drown out the calls to prayer. We pray the church in Turkey would thrive and grow and be filled with people who show true godly love for their lost neighbors and family members.

We pray for the unreached people of the day, the Berber, Imazighen of Morocco (who “…are virtually all Muslim; however, their religious practices are based more on traditions and the decisions of the community judges than on the Koran. Their societies are organized around two main systems: Islam and the tribe. However, there are many differences between urban and rural societies. In urban areas, orthodox Islam prevails; whereas, in rural societies, ancient beliefs and customs are intermingled with their Muslim faith.”) We pray for many among this people group to see that following you is worth the cost, no matter what, we pray you would help them walk in newness of life. We pray the radio broadcasts in their language are falling on receptive ears, we pray the Imazighen would hunger and thirst for righteousness, we pray you would help them see there is only one way, one truth, one source of eternal life.

We pray for Bloodwater Mission, thank you for the work they do to bring clean water to communities who do not have access to clean, safe water. We pray for funding for their ministry, we pray for workers who understand water wells and the requirements for successful location of wells.
