Good morning, Lord

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

Good morning, Lord, thank You for telling us all we need to know in Your Word, thank You for sending Your Son to save us from our sins, please help each one of us bring someone to faith this year, please use us wherever You have called us to live and serve and work.

Lord, we pray for the persecuted church in Saudi Arabia (a kingdom dedicated to the preservation of Islam, the words on the flag of Saudi Arabia: “"There is but one God and Mohammed is His Prophet"). Lord, we pray for the lost in Saudi Arabia, we pray for revival, we pray the people of Saudi would have their eyes opened and their hearts softened to the Good News about Jesus, we pray they would see Him as King of kings and Lord of lords and as their only hope for salvation. Please bless those who are brave enough to witness to the truth of the glorious Gospel in this land, please help them (and us) to be strong and unafraid of what men can do to us.

We pray for the unreached people of the day, the Lahuli, Tinan of China (“…there are a handful of Lahuli Tinan believers in India, but none are known on the Tibetan side of the border. Few have ever heard of Jesus Christ. Pray that there will soon be a growing number on both sides of the border. Pray for the gift of conviction of sin to be given to the Lahuli Tinan Buddhists, that they will acknowledge their need for a savior, and will then discover the work of Jesus on the cross.”) we pray these people would know that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that all men come to the Father only by Him.

We pray for Stephanie Chapman, thank you for this special young lady, please help her prepare for the call You have put on her heart.

We pray for this new year, please help us redeem the time, to use the time we have wisely, to tell others about Your saving grace in Jesus, please forgive us for our misguided priorities.
