Psalm 4:1 Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer.
Good morning, Lord, thank You that you do answer when we call, thank you for the yes answers, and the answers that are no, and the non-answers that tell us not yet, thank you that you hear, thank you for the gift of prayer, thank you for your mercy.
Lord, we pray for the persecuted church in Yemen (“…one of the poorest countries on the Arabian Peninsula. About 90 percent of the men use a drug called “khat” daily, limiting national advancement. Islam is the official religion, and Shariah law is the ultimate source of all legislation. It is illegal for non-Muslims to proselytize and for Muslims to convert to Christianity.”) Lord, we pray for the 1 in 2000 in Yemen who believe, we pray they would be strengthened and encouraged to share your love with their lost neighbors, please help them speak truth in to the darkness all around them. Please help those who have a burden on their heart for the people of Yemen to find effective ways to bring good news to this land.
We pray for the unreached people of the day, the Magar of Nepal (of whom the “…great majority of the Eastern Magar practice ethnic religions, while the minority are practicing Hindus. Like other Magar groups, Hinduism has greatly influenced the Eastern Magar. Many now worship the three major Hindu gods: Brahma (creator of the universe), Vishnu (protector and preserver of the worlds), and Shiva (the destroyer), as well as a host of other deities.”) Lord, we pray truth would ring out loud and clear among the Magar of Nepal, we pray for many, many workers to be sent into the Himalayas to reach this people group, we pray technologies like the Jesus Film and audio portions of the Bible would be used to open their eyes and let them see you, high and lifted up.
