Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Good morning, Lord, please help us follow this simple plan for living our life for you, trusting you with all the outcomes, giving you all the glory, please forgive us for worrying about those things we cannot control, please help us see how we are not seeking your kingdom first, please help us do as you have commanded us.
Lord, we pray for the persecuted church in the United Arab Emirates, (where “…many U.A.E. citizens appear eager to learn about the gospel in private, and they enthusiastically receive Christian materials. Evangelistic work must remain underground.”) Thank you that your spirit moves in to the hearts and lives of many, many people each and every day, thank you for those who are willing to risk it all to carry the Good News in places where it is illegal to do so. We pray the nationals of the U.A.E. would see firsthand what a move of God looks like, we pray for a revival, a bountiful harvest of souls to be saved in the Emirates for your honor and glory.
We pray for the unreached people of the day, the Zhuang, Central Hongshuihe of China (who are “…China's largest ethnic minority group. They are, for the most part, plains dwellers practicing wet rice farming side by side with the Chinese. Their traditional religion is polytheism. They believe in many spirits, often malicious, who control the events of their lives and must be appeased. Despite this, the Zhuang are very open and ready to receive the Gospel.”) Lord, thank you for a fertile field among the Zhuang, thank you that their hearts and minds are open to the Good News, please help us focus on these lost people groups so that every tribe and language and peoples would hear of your love in Christ Jesus.
We pray for By The Hand in Chicago, thank you for this stellar ministry, thank you for the futures they have help many young people from Chicago to reshape for your honor and glory.
