Matthew 21:21 Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. 22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."
Good morning, Lord, please teach us to ask aright, to not attempt to abuse this powerful promise, to ask according to your will, please help us see those things in our lives you want us to pray about and bring your miraculous power to bear on, please forgive us for asking for things we should not ask for.
Lord, we pray for the persecuted church in Nepal, where “…most persecution comes from militant Hindus who aim to drive all Christians from the country.” We thank you that the church is thriving in Nepal, we pray those who are kicking against the goads might have their eyes opened and see how futile their efforts are to stop the relentless advance of your kingdom.
We pray for the unreached people of the day, the Mina of India, among whom a “…lack of education, illiteracy and lack of access to proper facilities keep the Mina in the clutches of several sicknesses. Mina believe in life after death and rebirth. Those who do well in this life are supposed to be born as stars in the next life. Minas are ruled by several such superstitious beliefs.” We pray for this unreached people group of 4,609,000, please bring your word to their world in powerful ways, through people who will risk it all to reach the unreached. Please help the Mina see there is no rebirth in the since they believe there to be, but that they must be born again in Christ, and then they can shine like stars in the universe.
