II Corinthians 3:7 Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it was, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? 9 If the ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness!
Good morning, Lord, thank You for the ministry of the Spirit, thank You for the truth and beauty and harmony of the Gospel, we pray You would help us share this glorious Good News today, for Your honor and glory and for the sake of the lost who are all around us.
Lord, we pray for the persecuted church in Afghanistan, of the 76 people groups in this country, 70 are unreached. Wow, what a white field, thank You for those who love You and the Afghan people, please bless their efforts to win the lost in this dark land, we pray for dawn to break over this country, for salvation to come into their midst like it never has before.
We pray for the unreached people of the day, the Aoka of China, among whom some “believe there was once a ladder connecting heaven to the earth. A long time ago the ladder was broken and no people have been able to visit heaven since. Today the majority of Aoka are animists, living under the influence of demons and evil spirits. After centuries of living beside the all-powerful Han Chinese, the Aoka have lost their language and are being speedily assimilated into the Han Chinese language and culture.” Lord, we pray for deliverance of the Aoka people from animism, from darkness, from the many spiritual forces that enslave them. We pray they would know the truth and be set free, we pray for those who have heard the Gospel (about one-fourth of 301,000), we pray the seeds that were planted will take root and create a harvest of souls that will bring You much glory.
We pray for Cookson Hills, thank You for this godly organization, please help them continue to honor You with this ministry, we pray for healing and reconciliation among the lives of the children being cared for at Cookson today.
Lord, we pray for the Love Cost All simulcast this week, we pray many, many of our brothers and sisters in Christ would have their heart softened to the plight of the persecuted church, please help us identify as we should (Hebrews 13:3) with our brothers and sisters in Christ all over this world who suffer for following You, may we suffer along with them. Please help us support and encourage and share the burden!
