Hebrews 9:27-28

Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Good morning, Lord, perhaps today will be that day, perhaps today I could step through the veil, that one way journey from mortal life to immortality, infinity, and eternity. Please help me be ready, to meet You face to face, to enter a kingdom where there is never any doubt over who's will be done, to go through that judgement which everyone of us must face.

If this day is that day, I pray those who I leave behind, who You love but who haven't awakened to Your love and forgiveness, I pray they would know You, the only true God (John 17:3), and Jesus Christ who You have sent.

Amen
