James 4:7-8
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double- minded.
Good morning, Lord, how blessed would my life be if I consistently resisted the enemy and cling with all my strength to the nearness in our relationship. Thank You for the promise that our coming near will be reciprocated. Please help us purify our hearts today, we pray in Jesus' name, amen.
