Good morning, Lord

Matthew 5:3
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Poor (from biblehub.com):

4434 ptōs (from ptōssō, "to crouch or cower like a beggar") – properly, bent over; (figuratively) deeply destitute, completely lacking resources (earthly wealth) – i.e. helpless as a beggar4434(ptōxós) relates to "the pauper rather than the mere peasant, the extreme opposite of the rich.

Good morning, Lord, thank You for rescuing us from our spiritually bankrupt position, we were totally destitute, but, as Your word promises, You loved us first (I John 4:19). Our former position really is the "extreme opposite" of the riches we have in Christ, those riches that moth nor rust cannot destroy. Thank You, Jesus, amen.
