50 Commandments of Jesus
27. Beware of Leaven—Matthew 16:6
“Be careful,” Jesus said to them. “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
Good morning, Lord, please help us live 100% for You and avoid, with all the strength You give us, evil in this world, especially the little and not so little ways we leaven the world ourselves, either through commission or omission. Please help us check our tongues and hearts, and rid ourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind (I Peter 2:1), thank You for Your goodness and for the hope we have of an eternity without any evil whatsoever. Amen.
