Good morning, Lord

Exodus 19:5-6

Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, 6 you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. ’ These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.”

1 Peter 1:13-16

Be Holy

13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self- controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. 14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written:“Be holy, because I am holy.”

Good morning, Lord, it seems impossible to imagine myself being holy, much less a whole nation of people like me being holy, the only possible way to accomplish the impossible is through You, in Your strength, in Your way, so please help me see how I can be holy, because You are holy. Please help us treat others as we ourselves would like to be treated, we pray in Jesus' holy name, amen.
