Luke 1:67-70
Zechariah’s Song
67 His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied:
68 “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,
because he has come and has redeemed his people.
69 He has raised up a horn of salvation for us
in the house of his servant David
70 (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago),
Good morning, Lord, thank You for redemption, what a beautiful word, thank You that redeeming is in Your nature, and was part of Your plan from the beginning. Please help us shine with redeemed natural brilliance, please help us flavor the world around us with Your salt. Forgive us for not speaking out, for not preparing our hearts and minds and mouths for service, change our habits, we pray in Jesus name, amen.
